Tax Refunds CIS Subcontractors The majority of subcontractors in the construction industry have tax deducted at source. At the end of the tax year they are obliged to complete and submit a Tax Return declaring their earnings and calculate their tax liability. The majority of the time there is a tax refund due. We can obtain these tax refunds in a matter of weeks using our Tax Return submission software. PAYE Refunds Sometimes, if you have changed job, or started work and not handed in your P45 to your new employer, you are put on a Basic Rate tax code.
